Even though I’m done with SWTOR I’ve still got a few screenshots to post.

This is my second batch of characters in Star Wars The Old Republic. I’ve improved and perfected upon them since the beta.

Bounty Hunter and Sith Marauder adventures.

The SWTOR servers have just been taken down again for maintenance which is perfectly fine. If you’re American. It’s 10:07am here in the UK meaning lots of people are waking up and wanting to log onto their characters and have a jolly old time. They can’t do this if the servers are down for maintenance. Why are they not doing separate server maintenance? It’s madness and downright disgusting. One set of customers who paid good money could be playing the game whilst the rest are most likely sleeping because they are in a different time zone. It’s becoming obvious Bioware/Ea don’t give a fuck about the side of the world they don’t live in.

The EU PC Gamer guild all met up on Korriban to celebrate the release of SWTOR today. It must have seemed a shock to most new players to see us all rampaging around.

Last night was the conclusion to the SWTOR beta and to celebrate the ending of such an enjoyable beta many people flew to coruscant to have a party in the street.

Been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic beta and it’s actually a lot of fun. My super sexy Sith Warrior is pretty dope. I just pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition of the game through Origin (EA’s version of Steam) and can’t wait to play the final game.

P.S. Fun fact: I used to play World of Warcraft before it was cool. When was this? Years and years ago when it wasn’t even out yet. Man, playing WoW’s beta was such a long time ago.

I can’t wait till the EU beta starts and then I hope I actually get in. I just want to try it out!

Star Wars: The Old Republic certainly looks better than I expected. When I first saw the gameplay videos of the game I was a bit worried, but it turns out to be pretty good in the looks department.

The combat and the dialogues have improved (as they should have) from Knights of the Old Republic and The Sith Lords. Overall I’m having some fun with the beta right now, but not nearly as much fun as I’m having with Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Rock of Ages.

But I’ve tried to play World of Warcraft several times already (hurray for trials!) and the farthest I’ve ever gotten in that game was when I was playing the beta (years and years ago). I played WoW before it was cool. Wasn’t a big fan of it after that point. But already I’m liking TOR more than WoW.

There’s a bunch of homework to do, a bunch of homework to grade, a bunch of research paper first draft to write, and now a whole bunch of Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta to play. This is going to be a great Labor Day weekend.

You lucky sonnova bitch! The EU beta starts not long after the american one I’ve been told so I hope I get in too!
