This is my second batch of characters in Star Wars The Old Republic. I’ve improved and perfected upon them since the beta.

Bounty Hunter and Sith Marauder adventures.

The SWTOR servers have just been taken down again for maintenance which is perfectly fine. If you’re American. It’s 10:07am here in the UK meaning lots of people are waking up and wanting to log onto their characters and have a jolly old time. They can’t do this if the servers are down for maintenance. Why are they not doing separate server maintenance? It’s madness and downright disgusting. One set of customers who paid good money could be playing the game whilst the rest are most likely sleeping because they are in a different time zone. It’s becoming obvious Bioware/Ea don’t give a fuck about the side of the world they don’t live in.

The EU PC Gamer guild all met up on Korriban to celebrate the release of SWTOR today. It must have seemed a shock to most new players to see us all rampaging around.

Last night was the conclusion to the SWTOR beta and to celebrate the ending of such an enjoyable beta many people flew to coruscant to have a party in the street.

Eight characters I created in Star Wars The Old Republic beta. The game is being released on the 20th of December internationally.

As much as I love Assassin’s Creed games, I think I had my fare share of AssCreed this year by pouring an insane number of hours into Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (“AssBro”). So it’s no surprise that I’m either going to wait until Revelations goes on sale or just skip this one entirely.

Which is totally fine because I’ve got the rest of my year totally planned out in terms of gaming as illustrated by the trio of games coming out very soon. I loved Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves so Arkham City and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deceit are no-brainers when it comes to getting them Day 1. And Battlefield 3? Battlefield: Bad Company 2 remains my most played multiplayer to this day (with Team Fortress 2 as #2).

Hopefully by then I’ll be done with RAGE. Oh and I’m totally jumping into The Witcher 2 - Assassins of Kings once the semester is over in December. What games are you guys excited for?

P.S. Oh, Star Wars: The Old Republic is coming out at the end of December and I totally have that pre-ordered because I played the beta and I really liked it. Hey guys, remember Knights of the Old Republic? It’s like that but way more and prettier. AND THAT’S OK IN MY BOOK.

You know that is pretty much my whole list too apart from Skyrim in November and you know I’ll be staying away from AssRev till it’s sale time. Really need to play those Uncharted games one day. I’ve got Dark Souls on the go at the moment so that is keeping me interested console-wise. RAGE is keeping me busy as is evident with all those bloody screenshots I’ve been posting. 9 hours so far and can’t complain.
